The Hidden Truth Explores Paranormal Connection to La Crosse Area Drownings

The_Hidden_Truth[] LaCrosse, Wisconsin–According to and other local news sources, the Wisconsin Paranormal Investigators (WPI) will have a special one-day only screening of their documentary The Hidden Truth this coming Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Onalaska Omni Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It will be shown at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $8.

The Hidden Truth explores a series of local drownings in rivers around LaCrosse, Wisconsin and points to a possible paranormal explanation behind the deaths. The documentary stars Neil Sanders, Jay Bachochin, Allen Dunski, Jr., Scott Markus, Jackie Moran, et. al. It is directed by Scott Marcus, author of the book Voices from the Chicago Grave.

According to the film’s website, “Our mission is to help the victims’ families and friends find closure of losing their loved ones; to look into a possible alternative answer of why these drownings are occurring; and to increase awareness of the constant spirituality of our surroundings.” Make sure to check out the trailer for the film:

According to Hidden Truth Productions, Wisconsin Paranormal Investigators explored a theory involving the 1870 sinking of the steamboat War Eagle, which killed seven people, including a college-age woman, Mary Ulrich. One theory is that the ghost of this young woman, like a siren of Greek mythology, is still crying for help in the river and the young men are able to hear her cries and go into the river in an attempt to save her.

At least one critic, Sharon Hill of Doubtful News, is not impressed. She writes, “Let me understand this… there have been 10 river drownings in 17 years, all alcohol related, and there is a proposal that the deaths are “paranormal”? Am I missing something here? An emotionally-invested belief in the paranormal, it seems.”

Our readers are encouraged to watch the film and decide for themselves!

  1. You might want to check out Concord House in Concord Wis. in Jefferson County. The place has VERY HEAVY DARK VIBES to it. It is a dance hall where people disappear usually weddings or proms. I am still wondering what happened to Kathy Sjoberg who disappeared in the early 80’s. She was a student at Oconomowoc High school where I graduated in 73. I did not know her personally but recognized her picture in the paper at the time she disappeared. A psychic whom I was close with checked Concord House out and warned me to NEVER ride my bicycle near the place again lest I could also disappear. VERY CREEPY HEAVY ENERGIES!!!
